This morning, we received an email from our CSA that informed us the first harvest would be delayed:
“This is one of the coldest springs hay farmers have ever seen here. Things grow in cold but not freezing weather. Snow on our roof May 23rd!”
As you can see, things have changed: temperatures this afternoon are in the upper 90s. We seem to have gone from winter to summer, with no spring in between!
