The best part of all this, however, is still the fresh milkshakes, malts and smoothies, made with real, fresh fruit and topped, if you like, with a mountain of whipped cream.
The strawberry shake has large chunks of strawberry I spooned out and enjoyed on a hot day, and everything had frozen over perfectly to stay cool as I tried to reach the bottom of the cup 20 minutes later.
The next morning, my Frappucino craving quickly disappeared as I went in for a mocha coffee shake that tasted better, and probably had just as many calories, as a corporate franchise coffee shop.
For those wanting something healthier, with little dairy, the smoothies are also a nice, cool treat and made with fresh fruit.
