Cedar Breaks National Monument Petroglyphs at the Parowan Gap. These were made by the forebears of the Ute tribe about a thousand years ago. Many of them are weather and astronomical records. Pogonip-- freezing fog-- on last year's sunflowers. Pogonip (a Pauite word) rolls in when the weather is below zero and sticks to everything.
